1. Acceptance of these terms

These terms are a contract between you and My Meds Ltd ("My Meds", "we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales, company number 16852449. By downloading the My Meds UK app or using mymedsltd.com, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

2. The service

My Meds gives you access to official UK medication information sourced from MHRA-approved product data, including Summaries of Product Characteristics, patient leaflets and Public Assessment Reports. It includes a drug interaction checker, medication reminders and an AI assistant that answers questions grounded in that official data.

We refresh our underlying database regularly, but medicine information changes, and we can't guarantee it is complete or error-free at every moment. Always check the linked source document if a decision depends on it.

3. Not medical advice

My Meds provides information. It is not medical advice, and it does not replace your doctor, pharmacist or other healthcare professional. Always follow the guidance of the healthcare professional who looks after you. Never disregard or delay seeking medical advice because of something you read in the app.

In a medical emergency, call 999. For urgent medical help that isn't life-threatening, call 111.

4. Our AI assistant

Roger, our AI assistant, generates answers automatically from official product information and cites the source document for every answer. Like any AI system, it can occasionally misread or misstate its source. Treat its answers as a starting point, check the cited document, and confirm anything important with a pharmacist or doctor.

5. Eligibility and accounts

My Meds is designed for adults in the United Kingdom. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for anything that happens under your account. Tell us straight away at [email protected] if you think your account has been compromised.

6. Subscriptions and billing

My Meds Basic is free and includes medication search, interaction information and access to official product documents. My Meds Pro adds unlimited AI chat, the interaction checker, reminders with pharmacovigilance alerts and priority support, for £9.99 a month or £99.99 a year.

Pro subscriptions are billed and managed entirely through the Apple App Store, including any free trial, automatic renewal, and cancellation. To cancel or manage your subscription, use your iPhone's Settings app or the App Store, not My Meds directly. Refunds are handled under Apple's own policies, not ours.

7. Acceptable use

Please don't:

• Use My Meds for anyone else's medical treatment without their knowledge and consent.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape or resell the data or content in the app.
• Interfere with the app's operation or attempt to bypass its security.
• Use the service in a way that breaks the law or infringes anyone else's rights.

8. Third-party services

My Meds links to and can connect with third-party services we don't control, including the NHS App, the Apple App Store, and the MHRA's Yellow Card scheme. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms, not ours.

9. Intellectual property

The My Meds name, logo, app and website are owned by My Meds Ltd. The underlying medication information originates from the MHRA and marketing authorisation holders; we don't claim ownership of it, only of the way we organise and present it.

10. Disclaimers and liability

My Meds is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we exclude all warranties, express or implied, about the accuracy, completeness or availability of the service, and we are not liable for any harm arising from a decision made in reliance on the app rather than professional medical advice.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under English law.

11. Termination

You can stop using My Meds and delete your account at any time from within the app, or by asking us at [email protected]. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, or that we reasonably believe puts the safety of other users at risk.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, and will update the "last updated" date above. If a change is material, we'll tell you inside the app before it takes effect.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections that apply in your place of residence.
